Circumstances and Blessings

Throughout my life, I have observed people who are looking for pity due to their personal circumstances. I don't want anyone's pity. I do want to find common ground to help those who really need help. Special ministry for them by spiritually educating them that God can use them. My life is full of sorrow however I am careful not to let my self-centered (which is considered sinful) desire for pity be part of my life. I have learned that God wants me to take joy over my circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). As a human being, I understand that sorrow is a healthy and natural emotion which God have created. "God's goal is not to make sure you're happy. . . Life is not about your being comfortable and happy and successful and pain free. It is about becoming the man or woman God has called you to be. . . Life is not about you! It's about God." Chuck Swindoll In my practice of faith, I ask myself: "How does God want me to respond to this situation?" Faith always pleases God, because it comes to grips with our own reality. Christian who have faith understand the reality of their lives. Faith in God allows us to go as far as we can while trusting in God's grace to overcome the difficulties we face. God is asking us to stay strong in faith, keep at it, to carry on, to stick with it, as we trust in HIS possibilities. I have learned that God can only use believers who have limitations, which are weaknesses (i.e. physical and etc) that the believer inherited or has no power to change, such as a physical disability or an emotional disability or an intellectual disability. My life as a Christian takes work and requires the commitment of my heart, mind and body. I have seen people who overcame their situations into positive and actually glorify God. That's what God wants me to do. I am deaf, I have multiple sclerosis, I have diabetes and other circumstances in my life. As a Christian, I am happy that God have taught me with those circumstances. The Beatitudes of Jesus Christ are one of the wonderful examples that God is able to provide us. Matthew 5:3-5 (NLT) "God blesses those who realize their need for him, for the kingdom of Heaven is given to them. God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. God blesses those who are gentle and lowly, for the whole earth will belong to them." God also said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Cor. 12:9). God does answer our prayers, but not always in the way that we would have liked. In Philippians, "I know what it is to have little, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being well-fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."
