I am happlily married with 5 kids. I am an accoutant and worked in an accounting field for over 25 years. I like to make a habit of writing down whenever I have deep thoughts about God (so I won't forget). I really into Reformed Theology that is connected to Presbyterian Church in America.

Model Christians

Like it or not, we are all models. Others are watching us closely. This is scary. Who or What am I modeling? Am I modeling--negatively or positively--whether I intend to or not. Careless Christians do not discipline or examine themselves often enough because the Bible clearly teaches that we are to repent our sins to God daily. We still are sinners while living in this "tent" which means our bodies that are carrying the disease. We were spiritually dead but now spiritually holy and forgiven. The whole drive behind the Christian life is this longing to be conformed to the image of Christ. The more we run toward Christ and the closer we draw to Him, the more we light up this world and become salt in it. This is the way for us to be like Jesus Christ. One day we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is (1 John 3:2). We, who are truly disciples of Jesus Christ today are in the process of transformation into the likeness of our model. That process is quickened as we daily walk by the Holy Spirit.
