Are we still sinners?

We are no longer sinners? Not true, we are still sinners but forgiven sinners when we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are Christians, not gods. 1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. Christ's definition of Beatitudes (Matthew 5) contradicts those who believe they are gods. We received the GIFT of Eternal Life and Eternal Kingdom through Jesus Christ. True happiness begins in our hearts, mourning over sin which leads to meekness. From the attitude of meekness, we hunger and thirst for righteousness. Through Jesus Christ, we can receive God's mercy and righteousness that our hearts will be pure. When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, the Holy Spirit came into our hearts and cleansed our sins and purified our hearts. Only God can provide happiness when we have Jesus Christ in our hearts and only Jesus Christ can give us true happiness. Happy are those who joyfully endure problems and trials because knowing God is teaching and leading us to where He want us to go. Enduring trials are part of a Christian's life. (Read: Romans 3 and James 1). God is very holy and very powerful that I am a forgiven sinner. We are to worship God from our hearts because we are the temple of the living God (2 Corinthians 6:16), that God will search us and try us, and know our thoughts.(Psalm 139:23). God knows who we are by looking in our hearts, minds and souls. Like Paul said in Romans 12:1 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy, and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship." We still are sinners while living in this "tent" which means our bodies that are carrying the disease. We were spiritually dead but now spiritually holy and forgiven. The whole drive behind the Christian life is this longing to be conformed to the image of Christ. The more we run toward Christ and the closer we draw to Him, the more we light up this world and become salt in it. This is the way for us to be like Jesus Christ. One day we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is (1 John 3:2). We, who are truly disciples of Jesus Christ today are in the process of transformation into the likeness of our model. That process is quickened as we daily walk by the Holy Spirit. As I said earlier about Satan and Eve. Satan wanted to be equal to God. Satan wanted to be God but he can't because Satan (was Lucifer) is a CREATURE while God is the CREATOR. We ARE CREATURES, therefore we cannot be gods. 2 Corinthians 3:5 "Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God." Acts 19:26 And you see and hear how this fellow Paul has convinced and led astray large numbers of people here in Ephesus and in practically the whole province of Asia. He says that man-made gods are no gods at all.
