I am happlily married with 5 kids. I am an accoutant and worked in an accounting field for over 25 years. I like to make a habit of writing down whenever I have deep thoughts about God (so I won't forget). I really into Reformed Theology that is connected to Presbyterian Church in America.

Balanced View?

Doctrines of throw people off balance that hinders doing the Will of God that could entangle their lives easily if they do not submit themselves to God's power of grace. God's grace is more than sufficient in their lives that they are to fix their eyes on Jesus who is their Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Philippians 3:15 All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. Ephesians 4:14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Hebrews 5:14 Solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Proverbs 24:14 Know also that wisdom is sweet to your soul; if you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. In 1 Corinthians 2:10, God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love--like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. Acts 17:11: They were treated a lot better there than in Thessalonica. The Jews received Paul's message with enthusiasm and met with him daily, examining the Scriptures to see if they supported what he said. So, what is the most balanced biblical statement regarding FAITH? God will commend you for your faith, if you have not received what has been promised before you die. God has planned something BETTER for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect (Heb 11:39-40). Defenders of Word of Faith can judge how they think and believe based on what they believe. There is a naive assumption on those who believes that the doubters do not have faith when they do not know their hearts. Anyone can define "doubters" but only from their own reasoning rather than biblical.
