Burden

Being a Christian requires great care and a true knowledge of the Bible to distinguish a spiritual burden from doctrines irritation. We cannot close our minds to everything that is happening around us because if we do that, others are grieved by burdensome legalism that those who face them alone or put them in second class spiritual-citizenship based on appearance of not receiving what God has promised (that man has taught). "His yoke is easy and His burden is light!", with this quote from the Bible, it is important to agree that true salvation restores the right of a Creator-creature relationship. "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you" (Psalm 55:22). As I look around with serious observation to confirm the fact that the devil has been successful in planting his lie that no one cares for the individual person because of man's doctrines. By focusing on what Christians ought to get, they forget the burden of loving help which we are commanded to give to others: "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). We have the responsibility "for each one should carry his own load" (Galatians 6:5). The cost of discipleship is a price I am gladly pay for the privilege of walking in fruitfulness with others who are in the same burdensome. We all have to come to the understanding that while God wants us to be Spirit-filled that God's loving desire that we should reflect His own holiness and goodness. True spiritual power resides in the victory of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, "All power is given me in heaven and in earth." The power of the Christian believer lies in our Savior's promise of eternal life. Therefore, we are compared with what we could be, not just what we should be. Jesus Christ have risen and is all-powerful that anything we ought to be we can be. In our Christian fellowship (not individual), we must recognize that the Holy Spirit desires to take us and control us, and use us as instruments through which He can express Himself in the Christian community. We are not to ignore the Spirit's gifts and at the same time, we are not to covet earnestly the best gifts. It is still important for us to fulfill the Spirit-given abilities which are our spiritual privileges. We should not be looking around for some other way to gain superior but rather be humble while serving God. God has given us His gifts, power and help that we need to serve Him that He distributed the gifts according to His will and plans that lightens the burdens for all believers. This makes it possible for every believer to smooth carrying out of His purposes among believers in unity.
