I am happlily married with 5 kids. I am an accoutant and worked in an accounting field for over 25 years. I like to make a habit of writing down whenever I have deep thoughts about God (so I won't forget). I really into Reformed Theology that is connected to Presbyterian Church in America.

I enjoy having deep thoughts about God and put down what I actually think about (so I won't forget).

Intellect often come with PRIDE.

Intellect often come with PRIDE. It is pride to refuse to acknowledge the conviction of the Holy Spirit to repent and turn to Jesus for salvation. God will not dwell in our prideful thoughts of ourselves. The key is comprehension to understand why Christ died on the Cross and be able to feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit to be humbled. We cannot repent on our own without the help from the Holy Spirit. We are to repent with the help from the Holy Spirit who will help us TRANSFORM us to the image of God. Being smart do not save you but have the humble heart with the comprehension that we need Christ.
