I am happlily married with 5 kids. I am an accoutant and worked in an accounting field for over 25 years. I like to make a habit of writing down whenever I have deep thoughts about God (so I won't forget). I really into Reformed Theology that is connected to Presbyterian Church in America.

I enjoy having deep thoughts about God and put down what I actually think about (so I won't forget).

We are not to covet with Faith. We are to have faith in God for any blessings He gives us.

I have seen those who became rich while young and fell years later because of pride. We are taught not to take pride of our wealth and keep the boasting to God without our help. We are to be blessed of what we have and serve Him with humility. Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. James 1:9-10 The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position. But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower. God will help as long as you follow the Book of Proverbs regarding money. We all can prosper greatly with a great attitude and I know some wealthy Christian people who are very prospered that don't boast but rather, SERVE. Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. Luke 16:13 "No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." Quotes: Pride meets covetousness, and compliments it as wise, thrifty, and prudent. Unknown Jesus reserved his hardest words for the hidden sins of hypocrisy, pride, greed and legalism." Philip Yancey A.W. Tozer’s Beatitudes Instead of poverty of spirit we find the rankest kind of pride; instead of mourners we find pleasure seekers; instead of meekness, arrogance; instead of hunger after righteousness we hear men saying, `I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing'; instead of mercy we find cruelty; instead of purity of heart, corrupt imaginings; instead of peacemakers we find men quarrelsome and resentful; instead of rejoicing in mistreatment we find them fighting back with every weapon at their command. Of this kind of moral stuff civilized society is composed. We can stand affliction better than we can prosperity, for in prosperity we forget God. (D.L. Moody)
