A. W. Tozer (1897-1963)
A pastor in the Christian and Missionary Alliance, which grew out of the late-19th-century Holiness movement. As a Holiness preacher, he presented a two-tiered view of salvation that distinguished between true committed disciples and mere converts. A profound and uncompromising theologian whose books are loved by Christians of most all conservative perspectives.
