Thrill seekers (Another term for "Name it & Claim it"

I need to point out that Jesus hardly carry any money and besides, God do not need money. God can provide Himself whatever He needed. Jesus even asked Peter to pay His taxes for Him. Matthew 17:27 "Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him. "But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours." Speaking of Miracles... spectators loves seeking thrills and finding what they can get for their temporal pleasures. In John 6:14-15 After the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus did, they began to say, "Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world." Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself. Why? They WANT miracles and they want them NOW. Then the NEXT day, in John 6:24 says "Once the crowd realized that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats and went to Capernaum in search of Jesus." Why? John 6:34 "Sir," they said, "from now on give us this bread." In John 6:60 "On hearing it, many of his disciples said, 'This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?' " Gee I wondered why? John 6:66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. Again, I wondered why? Jesus said: Luke 14:27 And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:33 In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple. Does a disciple rely on money to do their ministry? NO. Is money useful in ministries. YES. What? No and Yes? What does that mean? God wanted us to rely on His eternal powers more than His temporal powers. But again, thrill seekers are looking for miracles and healings. Sounds like to me that this is very superficial searching for God rather than deeper searching for God from the heart.
