Maybe is not about Calvinism but rather God's Soveriegn regarding salvation?

I used to be an Arminianism but over the years, the more I studied, the more I understand God's plan of Salvation and the works of the Holy Spirit, I tend to agree with Calvinism. People from human point of view will always "dislike" Calvinism Doctrine simply because they don't understand God's Authority regarding Salvation. The Bible clearly teaches that no one has true "freewill" except God Himself. God is in control and He will allow us to have freewill only if its according to His will. The "freewill" is always subject to God's sovereignty and His divine freewill. God let's each of us chose whether they will be obedient to Him or not according to His will. The key is that God is ALWAYS in control even in our own freewill. Those of us given the free gift of faith, we have escaped eternal punishment that we rightly deserved because of the mercy and grace of God, and we should be eternally grateful. Christ's atonement which is the actual work, for whoever believe. We believe this is limited to those who believe and were chosen by God, whereas the Arminian side of it would say that everybody’s sins have been paid for. To me Arminian believes that Jesus paid the penalty for the sins of people who don’t believe. That’s the problem I am having because if your sins are paid for already by Jesus and you go to hell, then that’s double jeopardy. It is TRUE that Christ died on the Cross for EVERYONE !! The atonement basically means whoever Believe in Christ will not perish and those who do not believe in Christ will NOT get the benefit of Christ's atonement. Christ's purpose to die for everyone but the atonement is only limited to those who accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. The knowledge of God how and why He choose one and not another is too much to know that ONLY God knows. People can debate all they want "this".. "that" Debating Arminianism vs Calvinistic doctrines... and so on... on.... Proverbs 16:33 The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD. We are so entangled with "reasonings" regarding the doctrine of Salvation. You are either Spirit-Filled by acknowledging the conviction of Holy Spirit or don't acknowledge the Holy Spirit. Human pity is both a beautiful and a dangerous emotion. In the same way uninformed and unreasoning sympathy tends to take sides with the fallen and rebellious people against the God whose name is Holy. Biblically, it is very clear that no one seeks God on their own (Romans 3:11) and God calls and saves us by the Holy Spirit, not according to our works but according to His own Will and Grace which were granted us in Christ Jesus (2 Tim. 1:8-9). God chose us and gave us saving grace (Eph. 2:8-9). Ungenerated people have no capacity to understand God's spiritual truth; instead they created God in their own image that they are calling God's truth foolishness (1 Cor. 2:14). They are spiritually blind (2 Cor. 4:4), spiritually dead (Eph. 2:1) and spiritually ignorant (Eph. 4:18).Maybe is not about Calvinism but rather God's Soveriegn regarding salvation? There are many Christians do not truly believe in God's sovereignty. How can any Christians not be aware of the sovereignty of the God? It is amazing that there are some who deny any God's divine involvement in our salvation?. Sovereign God is the absolute, infinite, unqualified ruler in all realms in heaven and earth and sea. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.

One Night with the King

I have NOT seen "One Night with the King" yet. I don't go to movie theater since I am hard of hearing unless they have caption. I usually wait until movies comes out on DVD.I have not read the book but I should. Based on Tommy Tenney's novel Hadassah: One Night with the King. The way I understand, the story connects with the Book of Esther. I will have to check this out. My problem with "novel" and "movies", is that an adaptation of a "novelization" of the book of Esther. The book of Esther show how God controls history through providence. There isn't a miracle in the book and the name of God isn't mentioned but at the same time, without anyone realizing that God is always in control of every single event in this world. The king mentioned in Esther favored Esther and Mordecai, spared all the Jewish people, made Mordecai the Prime Minister and hanged Haman on the gallows he build himself for the Jewish people and preserved the nation Israel. Hadassah, "myrtle" in Hebrew (Esther 2:7), or Esther, "star" or "Ishtar" in Persian. One of the greatest and most essential attributes of God is His sovereignty, God rules over all things and controls all things. God also uses providence to accomplish His will in the world. You won't find the word providence in the Bible. It's like the word Trinity. God directs and uses events to accomplish His own Will which meant: "the providence of God." Romans 8:28 says, "We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." All things are controlled by God to work together to fulfill His eternal purpose for His Will. When you can't explain the trouble you're experiencing, you need to understand the providential power of a sovereign God who controls everything in the universe for our good and His glory. Everything that happens in your life (including trials) somehow fits into the plan of God. If you read the THREE main stories in the Old Testament relating to God's providence, God providentially led Joseph, Ruth, and Esther to accomplish great things in His eternal plan. This movie will be interesting to watch. But first, I need to read the book to see how close it is biblically.
