Sow and Reap from our heart's intention

Whatever you sow at your heart's intent, you will reap. Surely, whatever you sow by your actions but realize that God's looks in the intent of your heart at the time of your sowing. “O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You do scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways” (Psalm 139:1-3). God knows all our habits, plans, aims, desires, attitudes, ambitions, etc. are known to Him. “You understand my thoughts from afar” (v.2b). “He knows the secrets of the heart” (Ps. 44:21b). Jesus said, “God knows your hearts” (Lk. 16:15). The LORD said to Samuel, “God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart” (I. Sam. 16:7). Again to King Solomon God said, “The LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever” (1 Chron. 28:9). “He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God” (Rom. 8:27).

Determining why Believer is not physically healed

This is why this should be between the believer and God. People can come with many reasons why those are not healed. People may want someone healed and tells that person, the person feels pressured and under the microscope. A Spirit-filled Christian should know when to shut-up and keep the harmony and unity within the Christian community. As long as you know this brethren is not sinning obviously or doing anything against the Word. Shut up and let the person live in peace. The burden of loving help which we are admonished to give to others: "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2) which never harmed a soul. The burden of moral responsibility which no one can shift to another: "For each one should carry his own load" (Galatians 6:5) which is a source of comfort if our hearts are right. Through the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life and light and love. He will always act like Jesus, toward sinners in compassion, toward saints in warm affection, toward human suffering in tenderest pity and love. Do we really submit to the fruits of the spirit as spirit-filled Christians? Often WoF are saying that physical healing is a sign of eternal salvation and that those who are not healed are not truly saved. This is why Word of Faith is so confusing. Unbelief have to do rejection of the HolySpirit, not doctrine. Faith is a gift from God and I have great faith. You can't use unbeilef and belief in terms of blessings along with salvation. That's main trouble with WoF. Jesus Christ’s redemptive work on the cross provides the basis for my salvation and the foundation for me to pursue a life that reflects Christ. I believe that the truth of God’s Word will set me FREE from the bondage of sin. (John 8:32) I believe that the Bible is SUFFICIENT for life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3-9) and the Bible gives me principles and guidelines to live a life of godliness. It is my conviction that God’s design for me is to be radically TRANSFORMED by the renewing of my mind. (Romans 12:2) My hope for this radical transformation is by the POWER of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13) The goal of this pursuit and transformation is that I GROW in my knowledge and relationship with Christ. This growth in biblical knowledge fulfills the biblical command to go and make DISCIPLES. (Matt.28:18-20) Healing is never guaranteed and that we always TRUST God. If I am not healed today (temporal), I will be fully healed later. Healing MAY come in this life, but it's not a lack of faith which causes people to not be healed here and now. The promise, and God's Grace, is still ready and available for any and all to receive -- by faith -- and even if the condition of life contradict the promise, we are still called to proclaim -- by faith -- that we are healed. Of course, works by "measure of Faith" is another topic of "works". The measure of faith by some is defined how successful you are spiritually in order to be healed. I truly don't believe that God determine (measure) our faith based on our own works. We need to guard our spiritual motives carefully and walk in Spirit. People are forgetting that faith is not the only issue that God is looking for. God is looking for holiness. The heart is where God meets us because that is where we make our decisions.

Small churches and growth

Historically small churches that don't really grow and struggling usually the cause of either or both the pastor and the members spiritual fruits. A church is an assembly of believers and is made up of real spiritual people. The Scriptures teach every believers to be committed to a local church where he or she is loved and cared for, instructed in the things Christ commanded, encouraged to grow spiritually, and serving Christ effectively. When a local church do not grow phsyically usually means she have not grown spiritually. What may be unique is a local church that is primary a culture such as a deaf Church. Deaf church only can grow based on the area's population of deaf people. Reaching out to deaf people spiritually is more difficult because many of them had bad experiences with churches when they were younger and don't want anything to do with anything with Christianity. More and more "hearing churches" are picking on this and decided to have a special ministry that is lead by a deaf person to reach out to the lost deaf. Many hearing churches have been sponsoring many of the deaf churches around the world. The deaf church I was with was sponsored by two hearing churches.

Ministry to Young People within a Local Church

When it comes to teenagers, we are to know their culture and their interests in order to spread the Word so the Holy Spirit can convict their hearts to know Christ. The primary reason to become a participating member is not to gain a personal advantage, but to identify with the characteristics of biblical maturity and commitment to the mission and future of a local church. Young people is our future and they will lead for Christ in the future. Our job is to reach out to them. The ministry's objective is to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of the afflicted people in practical ways while at the same time, Glorify God. God has a plan. God has a will. His main goal is to save souls. More are being saved through special minitries that are able to reach out to those who needs to hear that God is with them. Being a Christian requires great care and a true knowledge of the Bible to distinguish a spiritual burden from doctrines irritation. We cannot close our minds to everything that is happening around us because if we do that, others are grieved by burdensome legalism. In our Christian fellowship (not individual), we must recognize that the Holy Spirit desires to take us and control us, and use us as instruments through which He can express Himself in the Christian community. Ministry for Young People is different, special and unique.

Faith and Suffering

Faith in God allows me to go as far as I can while trusting in God's grace to overcome the difficulties I face. God is asking me to stay strong in faith, keep at it, to carry on, to stick with it, as I trust in HIS possibilities. In doing so God will lift me above my circumstances as he develops my patience, character and hope. Romans 5:3-4 ".....I also rejoice in my sufferings, because I know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." I suffer to keep down pride (2 Cor. 12:7). I suffer because it is a training tool. God lovingly and faithfully uses suffering to develop personal righteousness, maturity, and my walk with Him (Heb. 12:5f; 1 Pet. 1:6; Jam. 1:2-4). Suffering or trials teach me the truth of Psalm 62:1-8, the truth of learning to “wait on the Lord only.” This means that this can require sacrifice, courage, discipline, and faith in the belief that God is good and has my best interests at heart regardless of how things might appear to me. Those are what brings me closer to God. If people don't believe suffering is part of a Christian's life, that's fine because the Holy Spirit can guide a believer to the right path. Each of us will post our own views. Some are more extreme than the other. At the same time, suffering does happen whether we deny it or not.

Lazy Believer?

The book of Proverbs reveals how appalling laziness is to God. The greatest waster I know is one who wastes not money, but time. Scripture has a lot to say about lazy people. Proverbs says, "Poor is he who works with a negligent hand." It also says, "The soul of the lazy person craves but gets nothing." It also says, "The lazy person doesn't plow after the autumn so he begs during the harvest and has nothing." It says, "The desire of the lazy person puts him to death for his hands refuse to work." And in Proverbs 24, "The lazy person says a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest," and as a result, he's destitute. Proverbs 10:4 Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth. Proverbs 13:7 One man pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth. Proverbs 22:4 Humility and the fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life. Proverbs 28:8 He who increases his wealth by exorbitant interest amasses it for another, who will be kind to the poor. Proverbs 22:9 A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor. Romans 12:13 Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Ephesians 4:28 He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need. Proverbs 15:27 A greedy man brings trouble to his family, but he who hates bribes will live. The same idea is this: 1 Timothy 5:8 If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. We are to to strive to achieve, reading 1 Timothy 4 explains that Christians must choose their priorities carefully like an athlete as to have disciplined lives forgo some desires that may hinder doing God's will and please God as you are after God's own heart. What should motivate me like an athlete who trains for the Olympics to win a gold medal such self-discipline and willing to face the endurance of the spiritual training as Hebrews 12 and other biblical passages describes? Like an athlete when training, I should always keep drinking water so that I won't be dehydrated and feeling weak. With that thought in my mind, I should always keep filling the Holy Spirit in my life so that I am able to act and react any difficulties in my life with God's power (Grace).
