Spiritual Offer

In regards to offering, Jesus spoke the issues of a person's heart and a Christian's motive. God is not impressed by our works such as tithing. In 1. Samuel 16:7, The Lord said to Samuel, "Don't judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord don't make decisions the way you do. People judge by outward appearance (i.e. works), but the Lord looks at a person's thoughts and intentions (heart)." (NLT) "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'This is the first and greatest commandment. Reading the Book of Isaiah, Isaiah was saying to the people of Israel, "God grows weary of your sacrifices and offerings when your hearts and minds are not in tune with Him!". This statement also similar to Jesus' complains to the Pharisee. Jesus said to the Pharisees, “Why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?” This trap is so easy for us to fall into due to unawareness of human pride and arrogant. So when we read 2 Corinthians 9:7 says: "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." Mark 12:33 says: To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices." Our worth in our hearts are more worthy than any offerings that we give to God. 1 Peter 2:5 reminds us that we also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. That verse ties to Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

Creditbility

Christian organizations who don't allow Christian Auditors to review their books is a sign of deceit. One thing I know of, many non-Christians non-profit organizations have open their books to the public. Why can't Christian Organizations? Are Christian Organizations hiding like the Pharisees did with their money? How many organizations, preachers and etc are willing to allow other to check on their ethics and have their financial records audited by Christians Auditors? For example of accountibility, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is one of the Charter members of the Evangelical Council For Financial Accountability (Since 12/1/1979). ECFA have been around since 1979. ECFA have grew very quickly after Bakker and others fell. Creditbility is evangelism. Is the modern day church growth movement biblical or unbiblical in its beliefs and practices? The cross is a symbol of the selfless, others-centered life of Christ. Love alone can make my conduct acceptable to God. My Christian testimonies (action, words and motives) are important to God because it is motive that gives to every holy act that Glorifies God.

Gospel: Curse, Christ and Resurrection

Curse explained in Galatians Galatians 3:12-14 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them." Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. The "promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come" we labor and strive. We work hard because we realize that what we do has eternal implications. There is an eternal heaven and an eternal hell. Everyone on the face of the earth will spend eternity in one place or the other. Galatians 6:14--Paul said that by taking up the cross of Christ, he crucified himself to the world--he died to everything around him and became consumed with the gospel of Christ. We're engaged in an eternal work; the destiny of souls is at stake. We are seeking to uphold the world, to save it from the curse of God of eternal death. Matthew 25:46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." Christ's Covenant is Eternal Life Hebrews 9:15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. Christ through His death and resurrection, every legal hindrance has been met and satisfied. There is nothing that can keep me from assurance except my own faith. Its not about thinking our way into salvation or to reason our way into salvation. The only way to get in is to believe Him with my heart which is sealed by the Holy Spirit. We must be clear of Christ's Covenant is Eternal Life. As for the Gospel in the Resurrection which is one of the great eternal promise from God. Romans 7:25 "Thanks be to God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin." 1 Corinthians 15:47 "The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven." 2 Corinthians 4:18 "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." Hebrews 13:20 May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep. 1 John 2:25 And this is what he promised us—even eternal life. Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
